・In situ-measurements of magnetic phase transition under high pressure of 3d transition metals
We are exploring novel solid solutions, superlattices and compounds by means of high-pressure treatment and high pressure solidification using multi-anvil press. Recent research topics are superlattice and solidification texture of non-ferrous metals, e.g. Mg- or Al-based alloys. Further, the mechanical properties and deformation of these materials are researched. Other than that, high pressure effect on magneto-volume effects in 3d-transition alloys and compounds have been realized. Relationships between magnetic order and volume are also one of our research topics.
